Life can be difficult at times and it is not always possible to sort things out with the help of family and friends. Sometimes it is too private and it is helpful to discuss the problems over with a counsellor who can be non-judgemental, confidential, caring and supportive. This can take place in a quiet and calm environment giving you space to explore and reflect on ways of making changes and moving forward in your life.
Calling a counsellor for the first time can feel like an enormous hurdle and it is important to feel that you have chosen a counsellor with whom you feel comfortable and able to work.
I am an experienced qualified psychodynamic counsellor, supervisor and trainer. I have an established private counselling and supervision practice in the heart of Pinner and am based in a residential road where there are no parking restrictions and close to public transport.
I offer short and long term counselling to individuals and couples and supervision to both trainee and experienced counsellors.
I am particularly interested in working with anger, anxiety, depression, bereavement, health issues, fertility/infertility issues, infant loss, marital issues, stress, relationship difficulties, Holocaust related issues, harassment and bullying at work, emotional and physical abuse, loss of confidence and self-esteem, assertiveness and personal effectiveness.
I have developed a special interest in working with individuals and couples who are experiencing fertility problems and infant loss.
I am also able to offer training on using Active Listening Skills to individuals and couples, groups of adults and students at school, and Mediators who wish to improve their listening skills.
